Many thanks for allowing us to play your wonderful course during our short stay in Malta. The course was looking wonderful and it was universally agreed that the recent work had enhanced the appearance and playing experience. Although the ship is not back in this part of the world for some time, I sincerely hope that other ship's companies can maintain the links with the Royal Malta Golf Club. Once more, many thanks for your hospitatility and the best of fortune to you and all the members.

I would like to personally thank you and the RMGC for providing our society with the opportunity to play on your excellent course during our recent visit. A good time was had by all and your club deservedly won 6-2. My team was impressed by the warm natured spirit of the event and the warmth of hospitality afforded to them. They also hope that a rematch can be arranged for the future.Malta is, as you know, always a special place for HMS ILLUSTRIOUS and our time in Valletta, though short, was enjoyed by all onboard. We look forward to having the opportunity to return to Malta and on behalf of my Ship's Company, may I wish you the very best for the future.

Dear Sirs,
Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our round at RMGC on 3rd October and to compliment you on the condition of the course and the efficient, well organised and friendly reception we got in all aspects from initial booking, club hire, the marshall directing us in the early part of the round and taking the time to have a chat walking down the 1st, to the well deserved pints in the clubhouse afterwards.
It clearly is an oasis in Malta and we look forward to returning one day, hopefully in the not too distant future.
